Busy, Busy, Busy

While Carson's been busy growing... the rest of us are just plain busy. Carson's really eating good these days. He's now on a steady diet of mommy's milk, baby food, cereal and a little formula. Jana's even been sneaking in prune juice these days to help work certain things out.

In between work and school, we were graced for a week with some buckeyes! My mom, dad, sister and nephew all flew down to Atlanta from Akron/Canton for last week of February and beginning of March. Unfortunately, they really didn't get much more than one day of 60+ degree sunshine.

Mason is an adorable 3 year old that can be as cute or as ornery as he wants to be. Mason didn't seem particularly fond of watching his mom hold Carson. Angela's pregnant herself, so when her little girl comes along; it'll be interesting to see how Mason adapts. It was great to see Angela during her pregnant stage. She looks great, but with Mason on her hip it's easy to see where she might get worn out. I know I wish I were around to watch Mason grow and be a better uncle. Angela's a great mom, but she's got a lot on her plate... trying to work while growing her family.

My dad was good to help me tear down the old shell of a shed in the backyard and dig up some brush. Whether I'm working in the yard with my dad or simply babysitting with my mom, it's always great having family around to lend a hand. Everything's easier with experienced parents/loving grandparents around. It's certainly too bad the Ohio grandparents won't get to see as much of Carson as we'd like. Right now, we'll take whatever we can get.

We did experience a momentus day on Sunday (3/1)... we got about 2 good inches of snow in Smyrna! It was cold, but beautiful (at least for us Southerners). We had never seen that much snow in Atlanta since we've lived here (5+ years now). If only Carson we're a little older, we could've played in it.

Oh, and I did get an A on my first exam of the semester... yea!

The two of you do an excellent job of keeping up Carson's Blog. It is a great way to get a 'snapshot' into his and your lives. The Florida grandparents enjoy being with Carson as well.
Congradulations on the "A" of course, we knew it wouldn't be a problem for you.
We love you guys and look forward to seeing you next week.
