Having a busy little boy, it is inevitable that bumps and bruises will be pretty standard occurences in the Hoffman household. On Tuesday, we attended a pool-side birthday party for Carson's friend, Logan. Of course all of us mothers wanted a group shot of our babies and thought a pool lounge chair was a great place for the picture. Despite being less than a foot away from Carson, I was not able to catch the little guy as he tumbled off the chair onto the ground. He has some pretty bad road rash on his forehead and nose, but overall handled the fall like a champ. Truthfully, I think I have had a more difficult time recovering from it!

Bless his heart. I am glad he is ok. Thank goodness little boys are built to be tough!
Yup, I think bumps and bruises are just something you'll have to get used to. I'm glad he's ok!
