Myself, Carson, and Julee flew out to Texas last week to attend Joy's graduation (she joined the Air Force Reserves and was graduating from boot camp). It sure was hot in Texas--nearly 100 degrees at 9am! Carson did pretty good on his first plane trip. Our flight to San Antonia was at 10:00pm and so he slept almost the whole way. Our flight back was at 6:00am and proved to be a bit more challenging.
While in San Antonio, we had the opportunity to visit The Alamo and Riverwalk. To stay cool, we also splashed around in the hotel pool. It was a real honor to attend Joy's graduation. It sounded like boot camp was challenging (did I mention how hot it was there), and I am so proud of her for sticking it out and exceling while there (she was awarded honor graduate of her class).

What a fun (but hot) trip! Congratulations to Joy!
Go Joy! Stinks it was hot, but what a sweet sister to share such a special day with Joy. =)
