Carson had a busy week. He made his FIRST trip to Ohio. Had his FIRST hotel stay. Celebrated his FIRST Thanksgiving. Met his cousins for the very FIRST time. And even experienced his FIRST snow.
With our car busting at the seams, we began our journey on Wednesday afternoon. Carson did great in the car...pretty much slept the whole time. We drove about 5 hours and decided to get a hotel in Kentucky. It was a little tricky to find a hotel that provided a crib for Carson. We finally found one, and wouldn't you know that Carson ended up in the big bed with mom and dad anyways.
Carson met many new people while in Ohio, including his Great-Grandma Hoffman, Aunt Angie and Uncle Mike and his cousins Taylor, Sydney, and Mason. I was very thankful that the weather was bearable. We did run into a little bit of snow as we were driving home on Tuesday. Carson did sleep through the whole snow experience...but I am still calling it his first encounter with snow.
