In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we've managed to keep busy with holiday gathers and gift exchanges. In the spirit of Christmas, our church community group offered up a poinsettia and Christmas card to about 40 random homes in a nearby neighborhood in an effort to spread some Christmas cheer. While Christmas remains a foreign concept to Carson (as a 4 month old), I know this year will only be a small taste of the Christmas joy to come in the short time ahead, once he's able to unwrap his own gifts.
Tonight Grandma Peggy, Julee & Michael are driving up from Florida for Christmas in Atlanta. Looks like Joy will be fighting fires in St. Pete during Christmas; and while Bob is exploring options for getting to Atlanta, it makes it tough to travel when you have to work. Regardless, I know we always get excited around here when the Alburys come to town. I just can't wait to share in the joy that comes from hearing Carson giggle.
