Christmas is Just Around the Corner

In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we've managed to keep busy with holiday gathers and gift exchanges. In the spirit of Christmas, our church community group offered up a poinsettia and Christmas card to about 40 random homes in a nearby neighborhood in an effort to spread some Christmas cheer. While Christmas remains a foreign concept to Carson (as a 4 month old), I know this year will only be a small taste of the Christmas joy to come in the short time ahead, once he's able to unwrap his own gifts.
Tonight Grandma Peggy, Julee & Michael are driving up from Florida for Christmas in Atlanta. Looks like Joy will be fighting fires in St. Pete during Christmas; and while Bob is exploring options for getting to Atlanta, it makes it tough to travel when you have to work. Regardless, I know we always get excited around here when the Alburys come to town.

I just can't wait to share in the joy that comes from hearing Carson giggle.

I love the picture of him in the poinsettas! I'm sure you had a great time with your family!
