On Sunday, Carson joined several children at Vinings Lake Church in being dediated to Christ. The whole Albury family was able to join him to make the day extra special. Everyone drove up from St. Petersburg on Saturday, which made for a short weekend. This was the first time everyone had been to church together in a long time... even Julee's fiance (Michael) was able to be there. Carson usually sleeps through church, but he did great and remained entertained throughout the service. I assure you that Carson's sleeping in church has much more to do with his nap schedule than it does the pastor's sermons! Someday soon Carson will be bound for the nursery, but it's been nice to have him nap next to us in church.
February 8, 2009 will certainly be a milestone for us as we look across Carson's life remembering this was the day we formally told our family and friends that his life belongs to Christ and our prayer is that he be raised to follow after God's own heart.
