Carson must have known it was Mother's Day ...he was extra cute and cuddly today. As some of you may know, Carson is quite the early riser...he is ready to get his day started at 6am (mommy and daddy are not!). Because I am still nursing Carson, I get up with him at 6am and we hang out until his first nap for the day (usually between 8:30 and 9:00am). As a nice mother's day treat, Charles took the morning shift for me (after I nursed Carson) and I was able to sleep in until 9:30am (it really is the little things that make a big difference these days).
Carson is growing by the second so we decided it was time to retire the infant carrier and invest in a larger car seat. I think Carson likes the extra room it gives him. Also, in the last week or so, Carson has become more vocal and unofficially said his first words ("dadadada"). We hope to upload the video of it on the blog in the next couple of days..so stay tuned!
