Weekend at Nana and Papa's

Last weekend Charles, Carson, and I headed down to Florida for a vacation. Well, the vacation was really for me as I took off on a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas with 5 of my girlfriends from high school, but Charles and Carson benefited from my weekend getaway with a fun stay at Nana and Papa's house. I had a great time on the cruise, it was a neat way for all of us to celebrate turning 30 years old this year. The weather was perfect and the weekend was so relaxing (I didn't have to make a meal, do the dishes or make my bed!). By far the best part was sharing lots of laughs with my friends and I am so thankful that we shared this adventure together. While I was lounging on the beach in Nassau, Charles, Carson, and my mom (Nana) spent some time at the beach in St. Pete (though it was a bit colder there). Carson loved chasing the seagulls and even learned how to make a seagull sound (basically screaming the word "ah" a few times). My dad personalized a cozy coupe for his favorite (and only) grandson. The two of them had loads of fun driving "Carson's Car" around the neighborhood.

Here's a picture of Carson doing one of his favorite activities...running! He is probably chasing his shadow. Many time when he see's his shadow, he points and says "shadow" then waves to it and say's "hi." He loves it when the shadow waves back!
