Mommy's Little Helper

Carson and I have so much fun spending time together. I am so thankful for the three days a week that I am able to stay home from work to be with him. He has turned in to quite the little helper. He has become an expert at throwing trash in the trash can for me (I think the foot pedal on the trash can is quite appealing to him). He "helps" me vacuum and loves Monday's when he gets to carry (drag) the empty recyling bin (imaginary choo choo train) from the curb back into the garage. Whenever I am in search of something around the house (lost shoes, books, toys, cat) he scurries around to help me find it and proclaims victory with a loud "Taa Daa." And every night before bath time he properly places his clothes in the laundry hamper in his room.

It is amazing how quickly his language skills are developing. He is able to repeat most things we say and has started putting words together to make sentences (I love mommy, I love daddy, ect...). He is alot like his daddy and loves numbers and counts to ten whenever he has the chance.

My mom flew up for mother's day weekend and we all had a great time. Carosn loves spending time with his Nana. We had our first cookout for the summer and discovered that Carson really enjoys easting corn on the cobb (see pictures above).

Holy maccaroni! He's such a big boy now Jana. Quite handsome as well. :) Glad he's such a helper for you. The enthusiasm (I have been warned) will wear off, so enjoy these moments.
