Fall is in the Air

They say if you spend a spring and fall season in Atlanta you won't want to live any else. When the sun is shining and temperatures are around 75, it's pretty tough to walk outside and not thank God for the beautiful weather. Jana and Carson are doing their best to take advantage of the great fall weather. Carson even went to a mini pumpkin patch on Saturday to pick up a mini pumpkin. Jana's friend Sonia visited Carson this past week from Pittsburgh. So it made for a good reason to take Carson downtown to the new World of Coke Museum (don't worry we didn't give him any Coke)! Then on Sunday, Carson went to the church's fall festival. Carson wasn't quite ready for the cotton candy or caramel apples... I keep telling him he's missing out!

Carson still keeps us on our toes. As glad as we are that Carson continues to adapt to our daily schedules for him, he's still hard to predict. Yesterday he spit up throughout the day and fussed for his mom all day. But then last night he slept great and only got up 1 time for food!!! Today Carson seems to not be spitting up much, and who knows what tonight holds. We have followed doctor's orders and have tried giving Carson a small dose of Maalox. It's sort of fun watching his lips pucker up when tasting new flavors. Watching Carson figure things out is experiential learning at its best.
